Bestie, if you’re trying to lose weight or gain weight, you need to read this first, because most likely, you’re approaching it the wrong way.


Number one. Let’s drop the “lose weight” lingo and instead choose the phrase “release weight.” In short, when you “lose” something, your brain subconsciously wants to find it… it’s like losing your fav sunglasses, keys, money etc… you want it back. Same thing with weight. If you say “I am releasing weight,” your mind is happy letting it go for good.


Try it out and see how you feel. It may help release some of the pressure we put on ourselves to lose a certain amount of weight and shift the focus on building safety in our bodies.


Anyways, as we mentioned before, your body has a “happy weight” threshold in which your hormones can thrive. Everyone’s threshold is different and there is absolutely no comparison in this game, it’s forbidden! Having said that, you know what your threshold is and if you don’t, your cycle will tell you!

If you are underweight or overweight, according to your natural parameters, your cycle could become irregular, painful, disappear completely and just be a pain in the … This is because it’s trying to tell you that your hormones are most likely not operating properly. Although a hormonal imbalance can be due to many factors, let’s play it safe and make sure you’re eating enough to support them!


All in all, the best way to support your hormones is, surprise surprise, cycle syncing your food!! You may be eating the right things, just at the wrong time of the month!!
