Cycle Syncing

Updated: Nov 14, 2022

Cycle Syncing - the quickest and easiest way to get a healthy period.

While we did say there weren’t any quick fixes for period pain and symptoms, there is one way you can drastically change your life — cycle syncing!

You may have heard of people “syncing” their lives to their menstrual cycle and thought that was “woo woo” or “impractical” or “intense” or maybe even “too spiritual” but in reality it is working with your biological blueprint.

Whether you like it or not, your hormones are cycling (except if you’re on a hormonal birth control) and if you aren’t aware of the four phases of the menstrual cycle, then you may feel like you are unpredictable, moody, irrational, or unmotivated.

So what is this life changing method we keep blabbing about?

Our resident biz mentor, women’s health coach, and Comma queen, @sashaluciahealth says it best,

“Cycle syncing is the science and art of using your unique biological blueprint to align your diet, exercise, energy and lifestyle with your changing hormones. You are working with your body, rather than against it, and tapping into the strength of each phase by providing it with nutrients, movement and stress management to culminate in an easeful period”

The best part of cycle syncing is that it is all about freedom not restriction. This is NOT

about following restrictive eating habits or toxic weight loss or gain plans. This is all about ADDING into your life. Cycle syncing is about including nutrients and food combos that support your fluctuating hormones and incorporate flexible & mindful movement that take into account your different energy levels.

Cycle syncing is both scientific as it uses your innate biology and rhythms to optimise all areas of your life (the guys are already doing it so why shouldn’t we… more on this to come) and an art as it requires you to tune into your intuition and find softness amongst the chaos. It’s all about enhancing the connection to your body and mind and supporting their needs to thrive!
